How to bulk schedule Facebook posts

Who this is for

Local businesses, shops and community Pages that post daily offers or updates, and social media managers who get a month of approved Facebook copy from a client as a sheet.

1. Connect the Page

Open Channels, add Facebook, and choose the Page from the list of Pages you manage; nothing is picked for you. Each Page becomes its own channel, so two Pages can be targeted separately in the sheet.

Facebook Pages in Dripost are in live testing now: built and posting for real, open to tester accounts, and open to everyone once that test is done.

2. Build the sheet

Give each post a row. Dripost reads columns for the text, date, time, platforms, a link, hashtags and an image or video link. A Facebook post can be text alone, so the media column may stay empty on status updates and announcements.

3. One photo or video per row

Dripost sends one photo or one video with each Facebook post today. Put a single public https link in the media column; Dripost fetches the file into your Library during the import. A vertical video between 3 and 90 seconds is suggested as a Reel; anything else posts as a Page video.

4. Import and choose the date order

Save as CSV and drop it on Posts, then Import CSV: up to 500 rows per file, read in your own time zone. A file written like 03/04 is ambiguous, so Dripost asks once whether that is day first or month first, then applies it to every row.

5. Read the review screen

Every row shows what it will become: scheduled, a draft, or needing a fix, with the reason. Rows with no date become drafts. A row that names no platform goes to the platforms you pick on the screen.

6. Create them

Posts are made 25 at a time, and each row reports on its own, so a broken link on row 12 does not stop row 13. The summary counts what was scheduled, what went to Drafts and what is waiting for approval.

Plan availability

Import is on every plan. Free allows 10 posts per channel a month, so a daily Page needs Creator, which is unlimited (fair use) with 200 posts waiting at once.
