YouTube
Schedule YouTube videos and Shorts.
Set the title, description, thumbnail and privacy, pick a time, and Dripost uploads your file as it is. You get the link when YouTube says it’s live.
What Dripost sends to YouTube
Your video, as it is
One video per post, streamed from your library, never re-encoded.
Title and description
Titles up to 100 characters and descriptions up to 5,000, checked before you schedule.
Custom thumbnail
On channels YouTube has verified. If yours isn’t, the video still goes up and Dripost tells you.
Privacy and Shorts
Private, unlisted or public, and a square or vertical video of three minutes or less as a Short.
Checked until it’s live
Dripost asks YouTube until the video is processed and live, then shows its link.
Only what it needs
You sign in with Google and allow uploads and reading your channel’s name. Nothing more.
Connect YouTube and post a video
Sign in with Google
Open Channels, choose YouTube and sign in with the Google account that owns the channel, on Google’s own page. Connecting means you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.
Upload once
Add the video file to your library, then set the title, description, thumbnail and privacy in the composer.
Short or video
A square or vertical clip of three minutes or less goes up as a Short. Anything else posts as a regular video.
Watch it go live
The post shows its link once YouTube has processed it. If the channel needs a fresh sign-in, Channels says Needs reconnecting.
Questions
Why might my video show as private?
YouTube keeps uploads from apps it hasn’t audited private. Dripost tells you when that happens instead of calling the video public.
Can I disconnect it?
Yes, in Channels. You can also remove Dripost’s access in your Google account at any time.
Does connecting YouTube give Dripost my password?
No. You sign in on Google’s page, and Dripost never sees your password.
