Threads
Schedule Threads posts, and longer threads.
Write it once. Up to 500 characters is one post; longer text goes out as a thread of replies. In live testing now, open to tester accounts.
What Dripost sends to Threads
Posts and threads
Up to 500 characters a post. Longer text is split into up to 10 posts, each a reply to the one before.
A photo or a video
One per post.
Counted the way Threads counts
Emoji count by their size, as Threads counts them, and no post carries more than five links.
One topic tag
Threads uses the first hashtag as the post’s topic. The preview tells you when later ones stay plain text.
Checked until it’s live
Dripost asks Threads until the post is published, then shows its link.
Connect Threads
While the test runs
Threads is open to tester accounts during the live test. Testers connect it from Channels like any other platform.
Sign in on Threads
A small window opens on Threads’ own sign-in page, so Dripost never sees your password.
Write long if you need to
Past 500 characters, the text is split into up to 10 posts, each a reply to the one before.
Lead with the topic
Start with the hashtag you want as the topic. Later hashtags stay plain text.
Check it
Dripost asks Threads until the post is live, then shows the link.
If Threads refuses it
You get an email with the reason, and Retry sends that post again with one tap.
Questions
What does live testing mean?
It’s built and posting for real, to the accounts of the people testing it. Everyone else sees Threads once that test is done.
Does Threads share post numbers with Dripost?
Yes. Likes, replies and views show in Insights next to each post.
Does Dripost see my Threads password?
No. You sign in on Threads’ own page, and Dripost never sees it. You can disconnect it from Channels at any time.
