How to auto post to a Facebook Page

Here is how to auto post to a Facebook Page with a queue: connect the Page once, set the times and fill the week. Auto posting to a Page means posts go out at set times with nobody pressing publish. Facebook allows it for Pages, and a queue makes it a habit rather than a chore.

Who this is for

Small businesses that want a steady Page without daily effort, community groups with regular notices, and managers running several Pages at once.

1. Connect the Page

Add Facebook in Channels and choose the Page. Dripost keeps only that Page’s own access, not your personal account’s.

Facebook Pages in Dripost are in live testing now: built and posting for real, open to tester accounts, and open to everyone once that test is done.

2. Decide the rhythm

Under Posts, then Posting times, add weekly times for Facebook, for example weekdays at 11 AM and Saturday at 10 AM. They show on your own clock.

3. Queue posts, not times

Write each post and press Add to queue. It takes the next free Facebook time. Add ten on a Sunday and the Page is covered for two weeks.

4. Mix text, photos and video

A Page post can be text alone, one photo, or one video. A vertical clip of 3 to 90 seconds goes as a Reel; the rest as a Page video. A mix keeps the Page lively: a question on Monday, a product photo midweek, a short Reel on Friday.

Keep an eye on the week ahead

The calendar opens on the week, with each queued Page post on its day in amber until it goes live and turns green. Drag one to another slot if plans change, or open it to edit before its time.

5. It runs without you

Dripost publishes from its servers at each time. For a video it waits until Facebook says it is ready, then records the post’s link.

6. You hear about problems at once

If Facebook refuses a post, or the Page connection ends, you get an email right away and the post shows on Home under Needs attention with Retry. Posts for that Page wait rather than fail one after another.

Plan availability

Posting times and the queue are on every plan. Free covers 10 posts per channel a month; a Page posting daily needs Creator, unlimited within fair use.

Questions

Is auto posting to a Facebook Page allowed?

Yes. Facebook lets approved apps publish to Pages you manage, which is how Dripost posts.

Can I auto post to a Facebook group?

No. Dripost posts to Pages.

Can Claude or ChatGPT write the posts?

They can draft posts in Dripost when you connect them; on paid plans you can also let them schedule. Nothing goes out right away without a person’s tap.
