How to change the time zone for Threads scheduling
Here is how to change the time zone for Threads posts in Dripost. Threads is read in quick bursts through the day, and whose day it is depends on where your followers live. Dripost keeps one clock for you and handles the conversion.
Who this is for
Creators whose Threads followers are spread across countries, people who travel, and teams scheduling from different cities.
1. Your clock
Dripost reads your zone from the browser at first sign-in and tells you. Every Threads time in the calendar and composer shows on it.
Threads in Dripost is in live testing now: built and posting for real, open to tester accounts, and open to everyone once that test is done.
2. Change it
Settings, then Profile, then Time zone. Pick from the common zones or the full list, or use this device’s zone with one click.
3. Queued posts keep their moment
A Threads post set for 7:30 PM India time goes out then, whatever your clock says afterwards. On a Dubai clock it reads 6 PM and still leaves at the same instant.
4. Plan for followers elsewhere
If most followers are in another country, schedule for their evenings. Insights can’t measure Threads yet, so start from the best time to post on Threads guide and adjust from the replies you see.
5. Weekly posting times
Posting times are fixed moments. After a zone change they show at the matching local time, so check them under Posts, then Posting times. Where daylight saving applies they read an hour different after the clocks change.
6. On the road
On a device in another zone, Dripost asks once whether to switch and never switches by itself.
Several clocks on one team
Each teammate keeps their own zone, so a post at one moment shows at each person’s local time. Nobody has to convert times in their head when they plan together in the calendar.
Plan availability
Your time zone is a personal setting on every plan.
Questions
Does Threads need my time zone?
No. Dripost posts at the moment you chose, and Threads shows it to each reader in their own time.
Can each account have its own zone?
No. The zone is yours, not the account’s.
Do CSV imports follow my zone?
Yes. The import reads times on your clock and names the zone.
Will switching zones for a planning session move my posts?
No. Posts keep their moments; only how the times read on your screen changes, and switching back puts it all as it was.
