A social media scheduler inside ChatGPT.

ChatGPT is OpenAI's AI assistant. With Dripost added as an app, it can use Dripost's 10 actions: write posts for each platform, schedule them, check whether they went live, and retry a platform that failed.

1. Turn on developer mode

   In ChatGPT, go to Settings, then Security and login, and switch Developer mode on.

2. Create the Dripost app

   Open Plugins, then +, then Create app, then Create MCP App. Name it Dripost, paste https://mcp.dripost.com/mcp as the server URL and choose OAuth.

3. Sign in and choose what it may do

   Sign in with Dripost and approve. It starts with drafts only; tick the box to let it schedule too.

4. Ask

   Type @Dripost and ask, for example "list my posts for this week".

• Write a post for every platform

  Your text, adapted to each platform. Save it as a draft, give it a time, or put it in the next free slot. Try: "Post my newest video to Instagram and YouTube, Friday at 6."

• Change a post before it goes out

  New words, time, platforms or media. Anything you don’t mention stays as it is. Try: "Move Friday’s post to Saturday morning."

• Delete a post

  A scheduled post can be brought back for 24 hours. A post that is already live is never deleted. Try: "Delete the draft about the sale."

• Schedule it, queue it, or post it now

  Posting now sends you an approval link first. Nothing goes out until you tap it. Try: "Put this in my next free slot."

• Try a failed platform again

  Only the platform that failed. The ones already live are left alone. Try: "Instagram failed. Try it again."

• Ask if it’s live

  The link to the post on each platform, or the platform’s own reason it failed. Try: "Is my Friday post live?"

• See what’s scheduled and what went out

  Filter by status, platform and dates. Try: "What’s going out this week?"

• See your accounts and limits

  Every connected account and whether it’s working, plus your plan’s limits. Try: "Are any of my accounts disconnected?"

• Add a photo or video from a link

  Copied into your library exactly as it is. A direct link to the file is needed. Try: "Add the video at this link to my library."

• Find something in your library

  Your photos and videos, newest first. Try: "Use my latest photo for this post."

• Instagram

  "Schedule my newest Reel for Friday at 7 PM with a short caption and three hashtags in the first comment."

• YouTube

  "Post my latest video to YouTube on Sunday morning; write the title and description from my notes."

• LinkedIn

  "Turn this paragraph into a LinkedIn post and put it in my next free slot."

• Facebook

  "Share the same photo on my Facebook Page tomorrow at noon."

• X

  "Write a 280-character version for X and schedule it an hour after the LinkedIn post."

• Threads

  "Post this as a Threads thread tonight and tell me when it's live."

• Free

  Your assistant can read your posts and accounts and write drafts for you to send.

• Creator

  The full set of actions: drafts, scheduling, and posting with your tap for anything that goes out now, plus webhooks and Zapier, Make and n8n.

• Pro and Agency

  Everything in Creator, across more clients, with more keys and the highest API limits on Agency.

• You're asked to sign in again

  ChatGPT's connection may need a fresh sign-in when its access expires. Sign in with Dripost again; your drafts and schedule are untouched.

• It can only make drafts

  That's the default for a new connection. Reconnect and tick "Also let it schedule and publish" on dripost.com, on a paid plan.

• "Post now" didn't go out

  Posting right away sends you an approval link first. Open it on dripost.com and tap Approve.

Posting right now always waits for your tap on dripost.com. Everything else stays a draft or a scheduled post you can change, and a new connection can only make drafts until you allow more.
