Guide
YouTube Comment History: How to Find and Delete Your Comments
Your comment history on YouTube is kept in your Google account's activity, not inside the YouTube app. This guide shows where to find it, how to look for an old comment and how to delete the ones you do not want.
Find your comment history on YouTube
Sign in to the Google account you use for YouTube and open My Activity. Choose YouTube, then look for your comments. Google lists the comments you have written, with the videos they were on. Menus move, so use the search box in My Activity if you cannot find them.
Look for one old comment
Use the search in My Activity with a word you remember, or filter by date. Open the entry to jump to the video and the comment. If the video was removed, the comment may no longer show.
Delete or edit comments
You can remove a comment from the video page or from My Activity. Editing is done on the video page, next to the comment. Deleting a comment removes it for everyone.
Keep your activity under control
My Activity has settings for what Google saves and for how long. Check them if you want less stored. Comments you have posted publicly stay visible until you delete them.
