YouTube earnings calculator: estimate your income from views.
Enter your views and a low and high RPM, the revenue you earn per 1,000 views, and this calculator for YouTube earnings shows a range in dollars and rupees. It is an estimate, labelled as one, with the formula under the result. The answer for what real channels earn is in our guide to how much YouTube pays.
How the YouTube earnings calculator works
The formula
Estimated earnings = views ÷ 1,000 × RPM. RPM is revenue per 1,000 views after YouTube takes its share, so it is what you actually receive.
Where to find your RPM
In YouTube Studio, open Analytics, then Revenue. Use your own RPM, and a range, because it moves with topic, season, audience country and video length.
The placeholders
The default 1 and 4 are not YouTube figures. They are only there so the page shows an example, so replace them.
You must be monetized
Ad revenue comes only through the YouTube Partner Programme. See YouTube's own page for the current requirements.

Questions
How much does YouTube pay for 1 million views?
It depends on your RPM. At the RPMs you enter, the calculator shows the range. Read the guide linked above for the factors that move it.
Is this a YouTube money calculator or a YouTube income calculator for India?
It is both. Enter your views and RPMs, and set the rupee rate yourself to see the result in rupees. RPM for an Indian audience is usually different from a US audience.
What is the difference between CPM and RPM?
CPM is what advertisers pay per 1,000 ad views. RPM is what you earn per 1,000 video views after YouTube's share, so RPM is the one that matters for income.
Can I use it for YouTube Shorts?
Yes, with your Shorts RPM. Shorts revenue is calculated differently from long videos, so use the RPM from your Shorts analytics.
Is this the exact amount I will be paid?
No. It is an estimate. Taxes, currency changes, and ads that were not served can all change the amount.
