Guide
Vertical video size: 9:16 resolution for each platform
Every platform here takes vertical video at a size of 9:16, and 1080 × 1920 pixels is a common full-resolution size for it. Each one sets its own length, ceiling and extras.
Facebook Reels
9:16 only, 3 to 90 seconds, at least 540 × 960, with 1080 × 1920 recommended.
Reels on Instagram
Through the API, 9:16 is recommended, with a width up to 1920 pixels and 23 to 60 frames per second. Length is 3 seconds to 15 minutes and the file can be up to 300 MB.
Threads
9:16 is recommended. Threads takes up to 5 minutes and 1 GB, at 23 to 60 frames per second.
Shorts on YouTube
A video needs a square or vertical shape and a length of three minutes or less to count as a Short.
YouTube may add padding around a vertical video on desktop, so keep black bars out of your own export.
One export for all of them: vertical video, one size
Export once at 1080 × 1920, 9:16, MP4, and keep it at 90 seconds or less if Facebook Reels is on your list.
Dripost uploads the file once and sends each platform that exact file, with the preview showing any platform that would refuse it.
