Interactive Polls on X, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and More

How to do a poll on Instagram

In a Story, add the Poll sticker from the sticker tray, type your question and the two answers, then share. People tap an answer and see the result. Instagram has also been adding polls elsewhere, so check what your app offers.

Interactive polls on X

When you write a post, choose the poll icon, add your options and set how long it runs. A poll on X shows live results to people who vote, and the poll closes after the time you chose.

How to make a poll on Facebook

Facebook offers polls in Groups, and in some places on Stories and posts. Open the composer for a group post and look for the Poll option, then add the question and answers. Availability varies by account, so check where it shows for you.

LinkedIn, Threads and YouTube

LinkedIn has a Create a poll option inside the post composer, with a short list of answers and a duration. Threads offers a poll in its composer too. YouTube has polls in the Community tab for channels that have it. Look for each tool in the composer, since the position changes.

Dripost does not make polls. Create them in each platform's own app and use Dripost for the posts around them.

Write a poll people can answer

Ask one thing, and keep the answers short and distinct. Ask something your audience actually has a view on, and use the results later: say what you learned in a follow-up post.
