Organising a college highlight row

College feels like a hundred small stories, so the row needs a plan. Sort by place, event and year and it stays easy to scroll.

  • Group by year, then by event

A first-year circle and a final-year circle give the row a start and an end. Fests and trips can sit between them.

  • Save stories during exam week

The funny, tired stories from exams are the ones people love later. Add them the same night before they expire.

  • Tag friends in the cover caption

Naming a batchmate in the story text helps them find it. Ask first if the photo is not flattering.

  • Name it after the batch

'Batch of 2027' gives a cover that classmates will share and tag themselves in.

  • Add a highlight for each semester

It keeps the row short and gives a timeline that is fun to watch after graduation.

  • Save farewell stories

Farewell nights generate the most shared stories. Move them into a highlight that same night.

  • Keep a farewell circle

The last week of college produces the stories people reopen most. Give it its own circle and name it with the graduating year.

Questions

Can I use my college name in a highlight?

Yes, and it helps classmates find it. Avoid posting private notices or photos that include people who didn't agree.

How do I make a highlight look neat?

Choose one colour for the circle covers of the same type, for example blue for events and orange for hostel.

Should I keep my college highlights after graduating?

Many people do, because the circles become a free album. Rename them with the batch year so they read as memories rather than current life.

Is it fine to name my college in a highlight?

Yes, for a fest or a campus place. Avoid posting hostel room numbers or timetables, which are private.

What if my college bans phones in class?

Then save stories from the canteen, fests and the ground instead. A highlight about campus life does not need lectures in it.

How long should a college highlight name be?

Under fifteen characters fits under the circle without being cut off. Short words like Fest, Hostel or Batch 26 are easy to read at a glance.
