See your X post the way X will count it.
This X post preview shows how your post looks and how X counts its characters. Write the post. The mockup shows it as X will, and the counter uses X’s own rules, so a post that looks short but isn’t gets caught before you hit post.
What the preview checks
Links cost 23
X rewrites every link, so each counts as 23 characters however long it is.
Emoji count double
Most emoji count as two characters toward the 280.
Text only
Dripost posts to X as text only, so this preview is text only too.
Approval without a login
Want a client to approve it first? On Dripost Pro, send them a review link: they see this same preview, then approve or ask for changes, with no account and no login.
Questions
Is this the same preview Dripost uses?
Yes. It is the preview from Dripost’s composer and client review page, with the same checks.
My post is over 280. What now?
